Copper cookware can be used in the oven and on all cooking surfaces except induction cooktops. Our induction plate is designed to allow you to use copper on induction burners. It is placed on the burner and it heats up. This in turn heats the pan sitting on top of it. Note, this is not the ideal use of induction technology. However, it does extend the use of copper cookware to this new cooking technology.
